Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers can be used for an increasingly wide array of cosmetic problems, including:
Chin augmentation
Profile balancing
Jawline contouring
Nasolabial folds (extending from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth)
Marionette lines (extending downward from the corners of your mouth)
Hollow cheeks
Thinned, wrinkled skin on the hands
Lines around the mouth
Lines across the chin
Hollow jaw line

Results are immediate and will typically last 12 months on average. Once the filler starts to dissipate, you will need to book an appointment. Most people who get fillers will need at least one follow-up injection within a year.

Discomfort during your injection is minimal. The area can also be numbed with a topical anesthetic cream or cold pack before injection, so you may not feel much pain, if any. You will experience a slight sting as the needle enters the injection site. Most patients tolerate the treatment with no pain medication. However, additional pain management options are available.

Dermal fillers require very minimal downtime, allowing patients to return to work and their normal activities directly following treatment. For the first 24 hours, it’s a good idea to refrain from strenuous activities and excessive sun or heat exposure. Staying hydrated is also essential.
